Easy 1 Minute Yogurt

Updated: Oct 2, 2024

easy 3 minute yogurt

Discover the secret to making thick and creamy easy 1 minute yogurt at home. With just a few simple ingredients, you can enjoy a healthy satisfying treat that taste just as yummy as store bought.

Ingredients

1/2 cup Coconut Milk (I used canned)

1 Block of Tofu (silky or extra firm depending on your thickness desire)

1/4 cup Agave Nectar or Sweetener of choice

1 tsp Vanilla or Coconut Extract

Instructions

Place all the yogurt ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the yogurt into an airtight glass container and allow to chill in the refrigerator until the yogurt is cold.

Serve on its own or with fresh berries and granola.

Note: this yogurt can also be used in recipes that require yogurt. If using for a savory recipe omit the sweetener and extract.

You can add less coconut milk for a thicker greek style yogurt.

Hi, I’m in England where we don’t use American ‘cup’ measurements. Could you give metric measurements please? I know it’s a pain but it would help. Many thanks, Jane x

Unfortunately I dont know the real conversions would be in metrics myself. Sorry about that. 🙂

Hello,

Thank you for sharing this yoghurt recipe. Would it keep longer if I added lemon juice?

Hmmm...I am not sure about how long it would keep if adding the lemon juice. Since this is tofu I would just use it up in about a week to a week in a half for best results and freshness. 🙂

I made this yoghurt and I’m really impressed with just how delicious it is and how easy it was to make. I’ll definitely be using this regularly

Sorry I am just seeing some of your messages. I would say it can stay well in the fridge for about 1 weeks or a few days after that from my experience. 😊
