Ingredients
1 cup Sourdough Starter Discard
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder (optional)
1 tsp Dried Rosemary, Everything Bagel Seasoning, Poppy Seeds, Paprika, Dried Onion or other Herbs (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the sourdough discard, olive oil, flour, salt, and garlic powder. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
Roll out the dough very thin on a floured surface, about 1/8 inch thick.
Transfer the dough to the lined baking sheet and use a pizza cutter to slice into squares or shapes of your choice. If using, shake some of the seasoning on top of the crackers, pressing in gently to stick.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden and crispy. Let cool before serving.
Tip: After rolling and cutting your dough you may have to spritz a bit of water onto the cut crackers then sprinkle toppings on before baking. This will ensure your seasoning will stay on the cracker.
