Stuffed Mushrooms

I love mushrooms and if I can amplify the flavor of these beauties by all means YES! These Stuffed Mushrooms are so flavorful and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

14 Cremini Mushrooms washed and stems remove

2 links Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage grounded

4 ounces Cream Cheese

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese shredded

2 tablespoons Butter melted

1/4 tsp each Onion Power and Black Pepper

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Clean and remove stem from the mushrooms. Scrap out the dark part of the cap centers of each mushroom. Line a baking dish with foil, place the mushrooms on the pan and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Spray each mushroom with non-stick cooking spray (I use Trader Joe’s Coconut Oil Spray) or drizzle with a little olive oil.

In a microwave safe bowl heat for 30 seconds the cream cheese and butter. Take out of the microwave and whisk until creamy. Add the 1/4 tsp black pepper, 1/4 tsp. onion powder, parmesan cheese and ground sausage, mix until combined. Stuff each mushroom cap with the sausage mixture.

Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the filling is heated through and the tops are brown. Enjoy!

Note: You can sub out the ground Sweet Italian Sausage and Parmesan for Beef and Cheddar Cheese. Or just play with the fillings and make it your own.
