Almond Milk

Almond Milk

Homemade almond milk is light, refreshing, and packed with health benefits, perfect for adding to cereal, coffee, or enjoying on its own. Almonds are an excellent source of vitamin E, providing antioxidant properties that support skin health and reduce inflammation. This milk is naturally low in calories and sugar, making it a heart-healthy option. It’s also rich in calcium and magnesium, promoting strong bones and overall wellness.

Ingredients

1 cup Raw Almonds

3 cups Water

1-2 Dates, pitted (optional, for sweetness)

Instructions

Soak the almonds in water overnight or for at least 8 hours.

Drain and rinse the soaked almonds.

In a blender, combine the soaked almonds, 3 cups of water, and pitted dates if using.

Blend on high speed until smooth.

Strain the mixture through a nut milk bag or fine mesh sieve to remove any remaining pulp.

Transfer the almond milk to a sealed container and refrigerate.

Shake well before using.

Note: Save this almond pulp to make our Almond Pulp Granola Cereal. Recipe on the website.
