Top it off with crunchy nuts for added texture and a sprinkle of chia seeds for a nutritional boost. A heartwarming breakfast that’s as nourishing as it is delicious!

Ingredients

1 cup Rolled Oats

2 cups Plant-Based Milk (Almond, Oat, or Coconut Milk work well)

1 tsp Ground Cardamom

1/2 tsp Cinnamon

1/4 tsp Ground Ginger (optional for added warmth)

1-2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup or your preferred sweetener

1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Pinch of Salt

Toppings

Fresh Fruits (sliced Bananas, Berries, or diced Apples)

1-2 Tablespoons Nut Butter (Almond, Peanut, or Cashew)

A handful of chopped Nuts (Almonds, Walnuts, or Pecans)

A sprinkle of Chia Seeds or Hemp Seeds (optional)

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats and plant-based milk. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

Once the mixture starts to simmer, add the ground cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir well to combine.

Continue to cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the oats reach your desired consistency.

Remove the oatmeal from heat and let it sit for a minute.

Pour the oatmeal into a bowl and top with your favorite fresh fruits, a drizzle of nut butter, and a sprinkle of chopped nuts.

Optional: Add chia or hemp seeds for extra nutrition.
