Layered Chia Parfaits

These Layered Chia Parfaits are as beautiful as they are nutritious! Made with creamy overnight chia pudding and vibrant fruit purees like mango, blueberry, and strawberry, each glass is a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. Perfect for breakfast, a healthy snack, or even dessert, these plant-based treats are easy to make and packed with fiber, antioxidants, and natural sweetness.




Base Chia Pudding

Ingredients

2 cup Plant-Based Milk (cashew, almond, coconut, or oat milk)

6 Tablespoons Chia Seeds

2-3 tsp Maple Syrup or Agave Nectar

1 tsp Vanilla Extract


Instructions

In a mixing bowl whisk together the plant-based milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.


Whisk well to ensure the chia seeds are evenly distributed.


Cover the bowl and refrigerate overnight (or for at least 4-6 hours), stirring once after an hour to prevent clumping.


Once set, the chia pudding should have a thick, creamy consistency. Stir gently before layering.


Mango & Coconut Chia Parfait

Ingredients

1 cup Mango, peeled and pureed

2 Tablespoons Shredded Coconut

Fresh Mango Chunks (optional for garnish)


Instructions

In a glass, add a layer of mango puree at the bottom.

Spoon a layer of chia pudding on top.

Add another layer of mango puree and sprinkle shredded coconut.

Top with fresh mango chunks and an extra sprinkle of coconut.



Blueberry & Almond Chia Parfait

Ingredients

1 cup Blueberries (fresh or frozen), pureed

1 Tablespoon Almond Butter

Whole Blueberries for garnish

Crushed Almonds (optional)


Instructions

Start with a layer of blueberry puree at the base of the glass.

Add a layer of chia pudding on top.

Spread a thin layer of almond butter, followed by another layer of blueberry puree.

Garnish with whole blueberries and crushed almonds.



Strawberry & Chocolate Chia Parfait

Ingredients

1 cup Strawberries, pureed

2 Tablespoon Cocoa Powder

1-2 tsp Maple Syrup

Dark Chocolate shavings (optional for garnish)


Instructions

Mix the cocoa powder and maple syrup with half of the prepared chia pudding for a chocolate layer.

Add a layer of strawberry puree to the glass.

Spoon the chocolate chia pudding layer on top.

Add another layer of strawberry puree and finish with a thin layer of plain chia pudding.

Garnish with fresh strawberry slices and dark chocolate shavings.



Pineapple & Matcha Chia Parfait

Ingredients

1 cup Pineapple, pureed

1 tsp Matcha Powder

1-2 tsp Maple Syrup (optional)

Pineapple Chunks for garnish


Instructions

Mix matcha powder into half of the prepared chia pudding for a vibrant green layer.

Add a layer of pineapple puree to the base of the glass.

Spoon a layer of matcha chia pudding on top.

Add another layer of pineapple puree and top with pineapple chunks.


Raspberry & Lemon Chia Parfait

Ingredients

1 cup Raspberries, pureed

Zest of 1 Lemon

1-2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice (adjust as desired)

Fresh Raspberries for garnish


Instructions

Mix the lemon zest and juice into the prepared chia pudding for a refreshing citrus flavor.

Add a layer of raspberry puree to the bottom of the glass.

Spoon the lemon-infused chia pudding on top.

Add another layer of raspberry puree and finish with fresh raspberries.


Peaches & Cream Chia Parfait

Ingredients

1 cup Peaches, pureed (fresh or canned in juice)

1/4 tsp Almond Extract

Coconut Cream (chilled and whipped)

Sliced Peaches for garnish


Instructions

Add almond extract to the chia pudding for a subtle nutty flavor.

Layer peach puree at the base of the glass.

Add a layer of chia pudding, followed by a dollop of whipped coconut cream.

Repeat the layers and garnish with peach slices.


Kiwi & Lime Chia Parfait

Ingredients

1 cup Kiwi, pureed (about 3-4 kiwis)

Zest of 1 Lime

Lime Slices for garnish

Chia Seeds for garnish


Instructions

Mix lime zest into the chia pudding for a tangy kick.

Add a layer of kiwi puree to the bottom of the glass.

Spoon the lime-infused chia pudding on top.

Add another layer of kiwi puree and garnish with a lime slice and a sprinkle of chia seeds.



Note: Each layered chia pudding can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to two days.


Tip: You can also layer these chia puddings with dairy free yogurt for a parfait type dessert.

Tip: You can make your own fruit puree by placing fruit in a blender and blend until smooth. You can also add agave nectar to your pureed fruit for a sweet parfait.
