Overnight Oats with Banana and Almonds


Oatmeal is a wholesome hearty way to get your day started. Let's make it easier by making these delicious oats the night before so you can wake up to a tasty breakfast all ready made. Make these oats in jars so you can have it as a breakfast on the go.


Ingredients:

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

1/2 ripe banana, mashed

1 tbsp almond butter

1 tbsp sliced almonds

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

pinch of salt

Optional: drizzle of honey or maple syrup for sweetness


Instructions:

In a bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, mashed banana, almond butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well.


Cover the bowl and refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours.

In the morning, top the oats with sliced almonds and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup, if desired.
