This dreamy strawberry matcha latte blends sweet, juicy strawberry purée with earthy, vibrant matcha for a refreshing drink that’s as beautiful as it is delicious. Creamy plant-based milk ties it all together, creating a perfect balance of fruity sweetness and green tea goodness. Not only is it packed with antioxidants from the matcha and vitamin C from the strawberries, but it’s also the ultimate pick-me-up when you want something a little fancy and a lot of fun!
Ingredients
1-1/2 cup Frozen Strawberries, thawed a bit (or fresh strawberries)
2 Tablespoons Agave Syrup (divided)
2 tsp Matcha Powder
1/4 cup Cold Water
1-1/2 to 2 cups Plant-Based Milk (like oat, cashew, almond, or soy)
Ice Cubes
Instructions
Blend the strawberries with 1 tablespoon agave syrup until smooth. Pour evenly into two glasses.
In a small bowl, mix the matcha powder with the remaining 1 tablespoon agave syrup to form a smooth paste.
Slowly whisk in the cold water until fully dissolved and frothy.
Pour in plant milk over the strawberries, then top with the matcha mixture then some ice.
Stir gently if desired, or leave layered for a beautiful presentation to serve. Stir before drinking.
Optional
Top with fresh mint, sliced strawberries, or a sprinkle of matcha for extra flair. You can layer your latte in any order that you choose.
Try different fruits like puree mango and blueberry; they are just as delicious.
Note: Using slightly thawed from frozen strawberries gives this drink a thicker texture.
