Walnut Milk

Homemade walnut milk is a creamy and nutritious dairy-free alternative that’s incredibly easy to make. Packed with the benefits of walnuts, it’s a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, which support brain health, and antioxidants that promote heart health. This plant-based milk also provides essential vitamins and minerals like magnesium and vitamin E, making it a wholesome choice for smoothies, coffee, or baking. With its subtle nutty flavor, walnut milk is a delicious and versatile addition to your daily routine!

Ingredients

1 cup Raw Walnuts

3 cups Water

1-2 tablespoons Maple syrup or Agave Nectar (optional, for sweetness)

Instructions

Soak the walnuts in water overnight or for at least 4 hours.

Drain and rinse the soaked walnuts.

In a blender, combine the soaked walnuts and 3 cups of water.

Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.

If desired, add maple syrup or agave nectar for sweetness and blend again.

Strain the mixture through a nut milk bag or fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp.

Transfer the walnut milk to a sealed container and refrigerate.

Shake well before using.
