Since my daughter was a child her favorite seafood was shrimp! I also loved that she enjoys simple dishes, nothing complicated. This dish is so simple and easy to make but flavor filled! Perfect on days when you are short on time.
Ingredients:
1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 head of broccoli, chopped into small florets
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 lemon, juiced
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: Chili Peppers for spicier dish
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until pink and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.
Add broccoli to the same pan and cook for 4-5 minutes or until tender
Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add shrimp back to the pan and squeeze lemon juice over everything.
Season with salt and pepper (and chili peppers if using them) to taste.
Serve hot.
