This citrusy Orange Julius Nice Cream is a refreshing twist on the mall classic. Made with frozen bananas, mango, fresh orange juice, and vanilla, it’s light, creamy, and naturally sweet. With no dairy or added sugar, this flavor brings bright, tropical vibes to your bowl—perfect for hot days or when you're craving something fruity and fun.
Ingredients
3-4 Large Ripe Bananas, peeled, sliced, and frozen
1 Large Orange, peeled and segmented (remove seeds)
Zest of 1 Orange
2-3 Tablespoons Plant Milk (to desired consistency)
1–2 Tablespoons Agave Nectar or Maple Syrup (optional, depending on sweetness)
a few drops of Yellow Food Coloring (optional for color)
Rainbow Sprinkles (optional for a nostalgic flare)
This flavor takes me back to mall trips and classic drinks, but in a totally plant-based bowl. It’s made with frozen bananas, mango, and real orange—then blended until soft-serve creamy and bright. It’s the easiest way to feel like you're sipping a nostalgic drink without a spoon. Perfect for hot days, post-workout treats, or when you want a fruity dessert that feels like summer in a bowl.
Instructions
Place the frozen bananas, orange segments, orange zest, and vanilla extract into a blender or food processor.
Blend until ultra creamy, pausing to scrape down the sides if needed.
Taste and add agave nectar if you'd like a sweeter flavor.
Serve immediately for a refreshing soft-serve treat, or freeze for later.
Optional: Garnish with fresh orange zest or some fun sprinkles for an extra burst of flavor and nostalgia.
