This pumpkin spice syrup instantly adds that cozy fall café vibe to your cup. With the perfect blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and a hint of vanilla, it’s your ticket to creating your own creamy, cozy pumpkin lattes at home. The flavor is rich and comforting — just like your favorite seasonal drink — but without the dairy or additives. Each spoonful feels like a warm hug in a cup.
Ingredients
3/4 cup Water
3/4 cup Sugar (or coconut sugar)
2 Tablespoons Pumpkin Purée
1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice (or ½ tsp cinnamon + ¼ tsp ginger + ¼ tsp nutmeg)
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Every year when the weather cools down, I crave that familiar pumpkin spice latte flavor — but I never liked how artificial or overly sweet some store versions taste. So I created my own pumpkin spice syrup that’s creamy, warm, and naturally spiced.
You can add a tablespoon to your morning oat milk latte, mix it into iced coffee, or drizzle it over pancakes or baked oats. It’s made with simple pantry ingredients and keeps well in the fridge, making it perfect for cozy mornings or entertaining guests.
Instructions
Combine water, sugar, pumpkin, and spices in a saucepan.
Bring to a gentle simmer and heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Then cook on low heat for 5-6 minutes, stirring often.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Allow to cool a bit. Strain if you prefer a smoother syrup, then pour into a bottle.
Use it in: Lattes, Smoothies, Oatmeal, or drizzle over Pancakes for cozy fall flavor.
