Spinach Hummus

Elevate your snacking with this vibrant Spinach Chickpea Hummus, featuring a fresh blend of chickpeas and spinach for a nutrient-packed dip. Rich in vitamins A and C from spinach and protein from chickpeas. Enjoy it with veggies, whole grain pita chips or as a sandwich spread for a satisfying and healthful snack.




Ingredients

1 can (15 oz) Chickpeas, drained and rinsed

1 cup fresh Spinach leaves

1/4 cup Tahini

1/4 cup Lemon Juice

2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

1 Garlic Clove, minced

1/2 tsp Ground Cumin

1/4 tsp Smoked Paprika (optional)

Salt and Pepper to taste

Water as needed to adjust consistency


Instructions

In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, spinach, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, and smoked paprika (if using).


Process until smooth, adding water a tablespoon at a time to achieve your desired consistency.


Season with salt and pepper to taste.


Serve with pita bread, vegetable sticks, or as a spread on sandwiches.
